We encourage artists of all expertise to apply to the 12th Annual Juried Show in 2019! The call will begin in November. If you would like to be on the list or have questions, please contact Denice Hansen denice@norfolkartscenter.org
Below are details about applying to the 11th Juried Show:
WIN $250 Best of show | $150 1st Place | $100 2nd Place
Applications must be received by midnight
on Thursday, February 1, 2019.
Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
The application includes:
•Entry form
•Fee: $20 for first entry; $5 for each additional entry
(up to five (5) entries)
•CD of artwork or slides
(or email images to denice@norfolkartscenter.org)
JPG format, minimum 300dpi
Labeled with artwork titles only
3D work requires views from all sides
•Artist statement
*Applications can be emailed to: denice@norfolkartscenter.org
Approximately 20-30 fine art works encompassing all styles and genres will be exhibited in the NAC gallery.

Each year the Norfolk Arts Center two festivals in which artists are invited to set up shop!
Soup ‘R Art
Held on the last Sunday in January, this annual fundraiser welcomes art lovers to experience live music, tasty homemade soups and desserts and browse booths filled with original local artwork. New to the event is the Kid’s Zone where children can get crafty and play under a supervised eye while adults enjoy the festivities. This lively event is held at the Lifelong Learning Center on the Northeast Community College Camps and regularly brings in over 800 people. Space is limited and there is a $100 fee to participate. Contact the NAC to learn more about participating!

Our “Second Saturday” ArtStock is an open-air market for artists and crafters. Join us for a day filled with unique pop up shops by area creators. The NAC will also be cleaning house – so you never know what you’ll find! Bring the family and stop by!

• Includes space only – plenty of room to bring all of your cool merchandise!
• Set up: Saturday, July 14 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
• Shops will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Tear down: All booths must be cleared out by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
