Join our downtown celebration featuring Norfolk’s best in shopping, swimming, driving, tasting and entertaining !

The community is once again coming together to celebrate the creative culture of Norfolk. Last year over 1,000 folks met us downtown for a record breaking party, and we’re ready to do it all over again this year! We’ve added some new things, so be sure to check out the full listing below and the ‘Fork Fest Facebook page.

Magnolia’s Parking Lot
For one day, there will be a FREE public yard sale space in parking lot B-1 (behind Magnolias) in downtown Norfolk! Claim a parking spot as early as 7am to set up a table and sell your yard sale items! Don’t have anything to sell? Come shop! Think of it as a community yard sale, all in ONE PLACE! When you’re done shopping, enjoy Fork Fest activities!
Yard sale spots will be available in the Northwest corner of the parking lot starting at 7am Friday.

Skate School

1:00-2:30 p.m.
SKATE SCHOOL featuring Rabble Mill
Miracle Park, Norfolk
This is an opportunity for youth to come and learn about skating and receive lessons from professionals.


North Fork Outfitting Events

1:00-5:00 p.m.
With North Fork Outfitting
Shuttled tube floats on the North Fork River Trail. Bring your duckies and flamingos and outrageous floaties. Rock music will be broadcast from the launch, landing and other stops along the way. Prizes for most outrageous float. $5 per tube rental and $5 shuttle fee will be donated to the Norfolk Arts Center. Shuttle will run 1:00-4:00 p.m.

5:00 p.m.
Float Your Fork Fundraiser
With North Fork Outfitting
Cardboard boat regatta will take place near the railroad bridge along the river.
$25 solo entry | $100 Corporate Challenge (4 person team)
Build cardboard “boats” with the fork theme. Prizes awarded for best use of fork theme and farthest float.
All proceeds will be donated to the Norfolk Arts Center.
