7 weeks of Standup Comedy lessons Tuesday nights from 6 – 7:30 pm starting Tuesday September 12th and going through October 24th
Find your comedic voice by writing and performing your own standup sets. In this class, we’ll observe different standup comedians and styles and observe what makes them work. Students will then write, re-write and perform their own standup material. Participants will also be given insight into the culture and professional elements of the standup community and how to continue to grow their craft. The course is taught by Pat Janssen, who has been a professional comedian for 15 years. He has written and performed in various television shows, films, and commercials.
