The Norfolk Arts Center’s After School Art Club for kids in grade school through Jr. High is an exciting and educational program designed to provide students with a creative outlet and introduce them to various art techniques. Led by the newest art instructor, Lydia Gordon, the club aims to fill the gap in art education not covered by local schools.
The weekly sessions of the After School Art Club will be filled with engaging and hands-on art projects. Each project is carefully curated to introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, fostering their creativity and allowing them to explore different mediums. From painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media, the program will cover a broad spectrum of artistic expressions.
The intimate class setting, with a limit of 25 students, ensures that each participant receives personalized attention and guidance from the experienced instructors. Lydia Gordon will not only guide the students through the creative process but also provide valuable insights into the world of art.
To secure a spot in the After School Art Club, interested students are encouraged to register quickly due to the limited capacity. This program not only offers a chance for artistic exploration but also serves as a valuable supplement to the art education provided in local schools.
Parents can expect their children to not only develop artistic skills but also gain confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper appreciation for the arts. The After School Art Club at Norfolk Arts Center promises to be a fulfilling and enriching experience for young artists looking to expand their creative horizons.
